STATUS PASS VIP

STORY

When the founder of Status Pass VIP came to me, they were looking for high-end copy for their web3 loyalty program brand. They wanted to walk the line of luxury and inclusivity — difficult to do, but not impossible. As an early brand to this space, I wanted to help get them started with a solid foundation of brand copy so they could find success in the B2B side of their efforts.

DELIVERABLES

FOUNDATIONAL COPY

When I work with brands — especially new startups! — I begin with my foundational copy deliverables. First impressions matter, and so does the first set of copy that you put in front of your target audience. It needs to be like a firm handshake: confident yet friendly. In my foundational copy, I helped to create copy that explains what Status Pass is, who they’re serving, and I also identified and iterated on brand voice and tone with the team to create a set of guidelines that would remain cohesive across all their content.

WEBSITE COPY

When your website is one of your main selling tools, it needs to speak to your ideal audience in a way that will make them listen. I worked with the team and their designer to create copy that converts on every page of the website.

PITCH DECK COPY

Pitch decks are a balancing act: they need to sell, but not appear desperate. They need to be clear, but not over-explain. While working with the Status Pass team, I helped craft sales messaging that would help them achieve their goals when it came to the future of the company, and crafted an approach for the pitch deck that would incorporate my copy with their designer’s visuals to strike that careful balance.

SOCIAL MEDIA COPY

Because social media is so critical in the world of web3, I helped to design a series of social media campaigns for this brand to help kickoff their communication with their audience and stay true to their brand voice.

IMPACT

Status Pass is one of the first projects to market in their niche, and they were able to move fast in part due to the way I jumped in and helped to create a framework with them and their design team. Branding doesn’t need to be an overcomplicated exercise, because startups evolve as they better understand the problem they’re solving and their target audience. However, you still need to nail that first impression, which is where I come in. I’m often hired by companies like Status Pass that don’t want to pay out the nose for a traditional agency, but still want an intentional, thoughtful brand right out of the gate. It was an honor to work with this company and help them make their first strides into the marketplace.
