Meet Amy

I’ve devoted my life to the art of storytelling. I graduated from USC’s presitigious film school with a BFA in Writing for Screen and Television. I worked my way up the ranks from agency assistant to being able to write my own episode of TV, fully immersing myself in the art of writing fast-paced thrillers for global audiences. In my spare time, I also created a live events company (Kingdom of Pavement) that I would pivot to a scripted podcast company when the pandemic hit.

In 2021, I started traveling the world with friends and leaned even further into my work as a freelance memoir ghostwriter.

These days, I balance my freelance work with my own career as a romantasy author. I’ve published three books so far: my how-to book Six-Figure Freelance Writer: A Holistic Guide on Finding Freedom in Freelancing, The Nomad Detective: Volume I, and my debut romantasy novel The Ash Trials.

Β

WRITER

It’s a great honor that I get to wake up every day and write things for a living. Here’s what I focus on:

ROMANTASY NOVELIST

I fell in love with the romantic fantasy genre in 2024. You can check out my book reviews for some of my favorite romantasy novels! In 2024 I also wrote my own romantasy novel, The Ash Trials, which came out on Valentine’s Day 2025. I have a few more romantasy novels coming out this year, so stay tuned and subscribe to my newsletter for updates.

MEMOIR GHOSTWRITER

I ghostwrite memoirs for people all over the world β€” and it’s just as fascinating as you can imagine. In my memoir work, I blend my entertainment background with my prose experience to help tell my client’s story in a compelling way. The memoirs I’ve ghostwritten have gone on to be picked up by major publishers and have skyrocketed my clients to the public attention and on TED Talk stages. I believe everyone should write a book about their life to memorialize what they’ve learned and what they want to pass on to future generations. Want to read more about my services? BOOK DEVELOPMENTAL EDITOR

I love working with authors to help whip their books into shape as a book developmental editor! I work primarily with memoir writers and novelists in the thriller, mystery, and romantasy genres. Learn more about my book editing work on my work with me page.

TV WRITING

In my television writing, I worked my way up from an assistant at the agency Verve and worked for multiple showrunners on shows at places like Netflix and ABC. I worked on the excellent spy show CONDOR (AT&T/Audience Network/Skydance/MGM) where I co-wrote episode 206. While my main focus these days is on novel writing, I learned the art of keeping audiences entertained from my years working in Hollywood.

Β

FOUNDER

I earned my stripes as a founder over the past ten years. I’ve started and run multiple companies, learning what it takes to build six figure businesses β€” without taking on a bunch of investment or hiring a gazillion employees. Even though I’m a writer first, I still think it’s important for creatives to learn a thing or two from the entrepreneurship world in order to do what they love for a living.

Here’s what I’ve worked on as a founder in the past decade:

KINGDOM OF PAVEMENT

Before COVID came and destroyed the live events world, Kingdom of Pavement was the company I founded to bring together creatives in Los Angeles at monthly open mic nights. After the pandemic hit, we wanted to keep collaborating with the amazing talent in our universe, so we pivoted to scripted podcasts. I ran Kingdom of Pavement with my business partner and creative collaborator, Kyle Cords, and we focused on producing bold content from rising creatives you can’t find anywhere else. We wrote and produced three podcasts: The Last Station (which I created and was the head writer), The Horror at Martin’s Beach (written and created by Kyle Cords), and Just to Be Nominated (written and created by Jorge Molina). I learned a ton from these projects, and I’m proud of the work we put out there.

SUTOSCIENCE LLC

Sutoscience LLC is my story services company that builds upon my career as a six-figure freelance memoir ghostwriter. In my memoir ghostwriting work, I help inspiring people leave their legacy through the written word. In my developmental editing work, I help writers transform their books into a finished product that will wow readers.

MORE ABOUT KINGDOM OF PAVEMENT

Just to Be Nominated is our murder mystery set at the Oscars, told through the perspective of two awards-season-podcast-hosts-turned-amateur-detectives. I produced this podcast.

The Last Station is our scripted sci-fi drama about the last radio station at the end of the world, and a radio DJ and nomadic cowboy on a mission to find what’s missing in their lives. I wrote, created, and produced this podcast, and this story is my way of processing quarantine and what we mean to each other.

Our newest podcast, The Horror at Martin’s Beach, is a scripted podcast and adaptation of a short story by H.P. Lovecraft and his wife Sonia Greene. I produced this podcast.

COACH & CONSULTANT

When I’m not writing or making things real, I’m helping others do the same. Because of my busy schedule, this makes up less than 5% of the work I do. But on occasion, I offer my coaching and consulting services to individuals and projects who need more guidance.

CONSULTANT

As a consultant, I help individuals with their books, Substack, or book marketing. My strengths are helping authors grow passive income streams with channels like Substack, their websites, and their books. I’ve also operated as a story consultant for companies, and have helped with brand messaging.

FREELANCER COACH

In my work as a coach to freelance writers, I help people find freedom by creating value for others. I have a bespoke 30-day program I craft specifically for individuals needing my help.

Β

HOBBYIST

To say I love learning is an understatement: I won first place in a ballroom dancing competition, did archery on occasion, and learned how to make pasta from a renowned chef in Milan, Italy. I know how to lockpick and can get out of a pair of police-grade handcuffs in under 60 seconds with only a paperclip, and I will win at every game of Monopoly I ever play, and that’s a promise πŸ™‚

My curiosity informs my writing β€” and keeps things interesting.
