My Favorite AI Tool: Text-to-Audio in YOUR Voice [Wondercraft AI Review]

If you’ve been around the block with me here on this blog or on my newsletter, you’ll know that I think AI tools are here to help us with the creative process — NOT replace creatives. It’s just not at a place where it can sling words better than you or I can, fellow writers and creatives.

So when it comes to new AI tools I’m testing, I want to know…

  • Will this AI tool make my life easier?

  • Will the AI tool make what I’m putting out feel authentic and personal to my community?

  • Is this AI tool able to help me extend the life of my written words and help me reach more people — without too much extra effort?

Most AI tools failed when I scrutinized them against those three questions.

But not Wondercraft AI* — an incredible tool that allows me to type in text and have it read in my voice.

Let me explain.

Wondercraft AI Can Supercharge Your Podcast, Newsletter, Social Content — Even Audiobooks

If you write or create stuff on the Internet, you know how much effort it takes to make high-quality content for your community. In my case, blog posts can take a few hours to write, edit, post, and share across social media. I have a huge archive of blog posts about writing, creativity, and entrepreneurship — blog posts that were just hanging out here on my website.

Enter: Wondercraft AI.

I’m now over 100 episodes into my new podcast — and I never had to pick up a microphone.

Instead, I trained Wondercraft’s AI on my voice by uploading a sample from my voice memos on my iPhone. Then, my partner Kyle and I just started uploading my archive of blog posts to Wondercraft, generating podcast episodes and giving my writing a second life.

Not only that, but I’m now in the process of adding these podcast episodes to my blog posts, which will help readers who prefer to listen to things stay on my blog posts longer — thereby decreasing my bounce rate and improving my site’s SEO!

Most of you know how valuable my blog is — I recorded a blog tour and shared how my website has made me hundreds of thousands of dollars and brought a ton of cool opportunities I wouldn’t have had access to previously — so this tool has been a huge win for me.

Wondercraft AI can help you create tons of other content, too:

  • I use Wondercraft AI to turn my newsletters into audio to help improve my readers’ experiences

  • I’ll be taking all of the audio I’m generating and will be using them as voiceovers for YouTube videos on my channel

  • I’ll even be attempting to make an audiobook from my most recent book, Six-Figure Freelance Writer!

I’ve tried out tons of other AI tools in this arena, but none of them authentically capture my voice like Wondercraft AI does. I’ve even had friends tell me they had no idea I was using an AI tool for my podcast and newsletter! That’s how amazing this tool is — and I’m no easy critic if you’ve seen from my other harsh reviews of AI tools in the past.
